Donato Helbling
IG @donatohelblingThe founder of the Miami Ice Club and one of the most active Certified Wim Hof Method Instructors worldwide. He completed his training directly under Wim Hof in 2018 (before Ice Baths were so popular), and helped turn Miami into an unlikely mecca for this practice.
Donato has over 20 years of experience teaching wellness practices, Budokon, Yoga, Martial Arts, Mobility, Meditation and as an Integrative Living Personal and Corporate Coach, and has taught worldwide. You can find him in Miami or at Six Fields, his Wellness Hotel in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina -
Jacquie Rangel
IG @jacquie.rangelJacquie is a clinician trained at the University of Miami with expertise in Mental Health and Sports Psychology and was, after being a dedicated member of the Community, the first teacher to join the Miami Ice Club staff.
In her work, Jacquie draws on knowledge acquired from a decade of teaching yoga, meditation, breath work and guiding hundreds of people through ice baths. -
Gabriel Villaverde
IG @gabriel.villaverde/Gabriel is a dedicated wellness professional with a deep passion for helping individuals reconnect with their body, mind, and soul.
An ERYT-500 and YACEP certified by Yoga Alliance, he brings a wealth of expertise to his clients. In addition to his yoga expertise, Gabriel has also studied with Donato Helbling, exploring the art of breathwork and cold exposure and is the Head Instructor at Miami Ice Club South Beach. -
Cristina Dominguez
IG @cristinaayurvedaCristina began her Ice Club journey in 2020 during the lockdown as a way to calm and strengthen her nervous and immune systems. Beyond those benefits she bonded with this likeminded community and quickly fell in love with the people and the practice.
She is a Yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, Ppsychedelic Counselor and Breath Coach. She infuses her upbeat personality, great music and shamanic drumming in all her classes. -
Ralph Ariza
IG @ralphjarizaRalph is a meditation teacher, energy worker and sound practitioner but the simplicity of breath and the truth of the ice remain at the core of his personal practices.
He is also a sound & Reiki Practitioner, Mindfulness, and a kids yoga Instructor. His classes are a real journey! -
Troy Valls
@troyjasonvallsKind-natured and generous giver of healing hugs, he now pays forward to the community using lessons from his personal path as his gift and message.
Troy earned a degree in Psychology at Syracuse University, crushed an 18-year career in advertising as a Strategist building world-renowned brands, was a competitive swimmer turned CrossFit athlete, then trainer, mobility specialist and ultimately opened his own gym, MLL. He is our latest addition to the full time teaching staff and is Head Instructor at Miami Ice Club Brickell. -
Cayetano Calle
IG @thestreetbeastOur own real life ninja! He’s a parkour instructor and a ninja warrior competitor. He uses breathwork and cold exposure to help calm his high stress lifestyle.
Caye is also a certified sports nutritionist, and helping others with food, movement, breath, and ice is his biggest passion. -
Luis Rosario
IG @l_rosario2The leader of our MIC Broward Community, Luis is a devoted family man, and a BBQ legend who's passionate about sharing what he's learned. For over three years, he has been a regular member of the Ice Club, where he overcame burnout that led to severe depression and anxiety.
Breathwork and ice baths played a major role in his recovery, making him passionate about helping others use these practices to boost their vitality, energy, and overcome similar challenges.

We are a community dedicated to the simple principles of happiness, health and strength. Who can join the Miami Ice Club?
ANYONE! That being said, to keep our sessions safe, productive and timely we ask that everyone know the basics of techniques and safety.
This means to be a member you must have experience with the Wim Hof Method in one of the following ways:
1. Completion of our 2-Class Intro Course
2. Completion of the Wim Hof Fundamentals Workshop
3. Referral from another Wim Hof Method instructor, approved by Donato
*The Wim Hof Method can be practiced by any healthy individual. If you are dealing with a serious medical condition, we advise to consult with your doctor before attempting any of the WHM techniques. We advise against practicing the WHM if you are dealing with: Pregnancy, Epilepsy, High blood pressure (taking prescription medication), Coronary heart disease (e.g. Angina Pectoris; Stable Angina), a history of serious health issues like heart failure or stroke, etc. If you suffer from migraines, we urge you to be cautious about taking ice baths.
Who is this practice for?
This work is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic.
